The construction industry in Poland still faces many problems. The economic recession is slowly getting over; however, in the construction industry, and at least in the General Contractors sector, we cannot see it, yet. The situation on the market and the sustainable drive to develop in our company support our efforts to move our activities abroad (within the manufacturing operations and construction services).
Within our activities of internationalisation, we carry negotiations with numerous partners, we try to use the assistance we obtain from municipalities associated with our region, we participate in study tours organised both by the local government and by business supporting institutions. The support of the Municipality of Kielce is a large advantage during the foreign tours because it shows that we are a company that is a major player on the market and can be really helpful during business contacts with new foreign partners.
Many of our activities are run outside Kielce; however, it is here that we have the registered office – we pay taxes, develop our general construction operations and offer our building services in Kielce; it is here that we run our newest CSR operations. We try to build our brand and, further, the brand of our city. Kielce and its region are historically connected with the building industry, which is an inevitable advantage of the city. The cooperation with the Kielce University of Technology (Politechnika Świętokrzyska) offers us the technical support and helps us develop our R&D operations.
I fully appreciate the work of the Investor Assistance Centre employees who try to attract as many enterprises to Kielce as they can. With their assistance I am trying, among others, to commercialise the office space in the “Stacja Biznesu” - an office building we are developing.
