The population of the City of Kielce ammounts to 191 448 people, of which one third citizens of mobile working age (18-44). Annually, 9 universities educate approx. 20 thousand students every year, providing 6 thousand graduates.

State universities:

Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce - the largest university in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, offering education in 2 branches at 6 faculties and over 50 fields of study
Kielce University of Technology provides education at 5 faculties, 21 fields of study and over 60 specializations, over 130 laboratories equipped with modern infrastructure, carrying out commercial research for business

University of Economics, Law and Medical Sciences E. Lipiński (the largest private university in the Świętokrzyskie region educating in 12 fields of study, including law, economy, finance and accounting)
Kielce University of Information Technology and Telecommunications (the first non-state university in Poland educating students in the field of ICT and telecommunications; it offers engineering studies in the field of ICT systems, telecommunications, applied computer science, computer graphics and multimedia)

Students in Kielce speak foreign languages and ​​enjoy an access to the information technology tools, they feel equipped with the theoretical knowledge that will help them in the labour market.
